(2 marks) A. a company that owns other numerous companies involved in mass media enterprises such as tv or radio.  Q. how does ownership shape the content of newspapers? refer to mirror and the times. (8 marks) A. ownership of these newspapers can alter the content they release and also how they choose to present that information to the public. for example red top newspapers tend be less formal and on the front cover tend to have some sort of pun relating to the main headline. these type of newspapers tend to have a lower demographic and appeal to the middle class audiences and any central/left wing audiences. both newspapers usually portray a secondary story/article on the front page however the mirror uses images to portray the story whereas the the times just use a headline. further portraying the sophisticated nature of the times. the mirror also have a pug and puff on the top of the cover to show vouchers for supermarket stores again this ...

Statement of Aims

Statement of Aims Print Firstly, for my magazine cover I'm going to use a large masthead starting from the top left side of the page as people as readers tend to look from top left of the page to the bottom right allowing the title RDZ FLMS to be the first thing they see. the font will be big bold text most likely in sans serif to show the upper class status of the magazine and to denote to the audience that we cover only box office films the text will also be in red colour as it has numerous connotations such as love, hatred, passion, courage and sexuality; I've done this to show the audience that my series contains moments pain, setback and joy and denote the rollercoaster of emotion within the series. Part of the masthead may be covered by the protagonist of the featured series, the image will probably be a snap shot of an episode because as that's what the audience is most interested in. this connotes how popular the magazine brand will be and yet still has its own id...

I, Daniel Blake the economic context shapes the film 'I, Daniel Blake' in different ways. one way it influences the film was the production of it. firstly the film was funded by different companies such as channel 4,BBC films and 'why not films'. the film generally challenged to gain funding thus many different conglomerates. there was also no 'major star' involved in the film with low end actors. this allows the film to be more relatable and appeals to socio-economic groups. also allows to have a wide demographic audience of C1-E. It also informs people of a higher demographic that these sort of problems are more common than they think. The film was also set in the NE of England. subverting the stereotype of films with most films usually set at a famous landmark or city. the trailer for the film hints at the narrative and genre and has an inspiring yet relatable and sad tone to it. the trailer emphasises the representation of Katie and Daniel, portraying them...
black panther how does it fit into the franchise? -it fits into the franchise as Black Panther was first introduced into the MCU in 'Civil War' film but wasn't clear whether he was a hero or a villain as he seeking revenge of the murder of his dad. Following this feature the shortly followed up with a film of his own making him the first black super hero to have his own film in 2018.   What makes it different? -This film is different as they hired a black director making the film more personal and diverse to the African community. They also imbedded African traditions and settings into the films this is shown through their traditional clothing, chants and peircing. In the trailer of Black Panther as well as making him look like a hero they image him as a leader and a warrior something which is common in African tradition and tribes. despite the never seen before (in the mcu) technological advancements and the wealth of wakanda there's a wide shot showing r...

The film was set in Newcastle upon tyne.   A stand-up comedy show titled  I, Tom Mayhew  was be performed at the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2019.
